Caring for refugees from the Ukraine war
Together with the organization STELP – supporter on site and Medical Volunteers International e.V., we, the Dental Emergency Team, are planning to convert an ambulance into a mobile station for dentistry and general medicine. With this we want to provide help in the expected refugee camps in the Ukrainian neighboring countries. STELP finances the car and conversion, the Dental Emergency Team takes care of the dental equipment such as treatment chair, equipment, instruments, etc. The vehicle should then be staffed flexibly with a medical and dental crew each, whereby the locations can vary depending on the need .
Donations (cash or donations in kind) are urgently needed to finance the expansion of an ambulance into a mobile (dental) medical aid station and thus to be able to provide extensive care for the victims of the war on the border with Ukraine.
10 months construction time until completion
After a long and nerve-wracking 10 months, our technician Christian Novoselac was finally able to announce that the mobile dental clinic is complete. Unfortunately, the construction period has been delayed due to the pandemic and delivery difficulties. But now we can confidently say that we have a sophisticated emergency vehicle that is specially tailored to our needs, with which we can interact spontaneously and agilely in the border region in order to be able to offer dental help quickly
